Closed testing to Google
Play, in 14 days.
Since November 2023, every personal developer account needs 12 real testers for 14 consecutive days before Google unlocks production access. Here's exactly how we deliver that — step by step.
See the step-by-step playbook ↓12 testers. 14 days. Zero manual work.
You send one link. We run every single day of Google Play's closed testing requirement until your app is cleared for production access.
Send your closed testing link
Copy your Google Play closed testing link and package name — that's the only input we need to get started.
12 real testers join on real phones
12 verified testers opt in and install your app on physical Android devices — no emulators, no bot accounts, ever.
Daily use, zero drop-offs allowed
Every tester opens and uses your app daily. If anyone falls below 12 active testers, we replace them instantly — your 14-day streak never resets.
Apply for Google Play production access
Every requirement Google checks is already satisfied. Follow our step-by-step guide to answer the production access questionnaire right the first time.
Every click, setting,
and policy rule.
The exact Play Console mechanics behind each step above — plus the details that decide whether your application gets approved.
Set up your Closed Testing track in Google Play Console
Log into Google Play Console, navigate to Release → Testing → Closed testing, and create a new track. Upload your AAB (Android App Bundle), configure target countries, and set up the tester opt-in via Google Groups or email list. Your app must pass a policy check before testers can be invited.
Place your order and add our Google Group to your track
Order on 12TestersFR.com and receive our dedicated Google Group address instantly. Paste it into your Play Console closed testing track, then copy your Web opt-in and Android opt-in links and submit them in your order dashboard — that's the only setup step on your end.
How we keep your count at 12 without you watching a dashboard
Google re-checks your opted-in tester count continuously, not once a day. We monitor the same signal in real time — if a tester goes quiet or uninstalls, a replacement from our verified pool is opted in before the next check runs, so your visible count never dips and the clock never restarts.
Apply for production access with a complete, data-backed questionnaire
Once you hit Day 14, the 'Apply for production' button unlocks in Play Console. Instead of guessing what to write, you get a response drafted from your actual test cycle — real tester count, real dates, real feedback — ready to copy in and submit.
Why self-organized tests
almost always fail
The three failure modes that send developers back to Day 1 — and how we prevent all of them.
Friend dropouts reset the 14-day clock
Friends uninstall on Day 3 or stop opening the app after a few days. If your opted-in count drops below 12 at any point, Google's counter resets to Day 1 — and you need another full 14 days from scratch. There is no partial credit.
Emulators and bots get flagged by Google Play Protect
Google's policy explicitly requires real users on real physical devices. Emulators like BlueStacks or Genymotion and automated install scripts do not satisfy the requirement and can trigger a Play Protect flag on your developer account — a risk that follows you past this app.
Vague questionnaire answers cause instant rejection
When applying for production, Google asks structured questions: how many testers participated, what bugs were found, how feedback was incorporated. Answers like 'everything worked fine' are an immediate rejection trigger. You need real, specific data from a real test.
12Testers prevents all three. Verified testers, physical devices only, same-day dropout replacement, and a completed questionnaire guide based on your real test data.
